Director of Marketing
Matt Walker-Wilson graduated from Sheffield Hallam University, England, with a Bsc. (Hons) in computer studies. His particular interest included the development of artificial intelligence and expert systems for computer based learning. In 1988, he joined International Computers Limited (ICL), Europe’s largest computer manufacturer, where he worked on the development of text indexing and document management (the pioneer systems for search engines).
In 1992, he joined Information Dimensions Limited, London, where he became a software integration specialist and trained hundreds of employees of government departments and private companies in the customisation, integration and operation of complex document storage and retrieval software.

Since 1996, he has been a director of Advance Training and Consultancy Limited which advises clients on email marketing, search engine analytics, website metrics and database integration. Over the past ten years, his clients have included Adobe, Amazon, Avis, BAA, BBC, BP, BPAL, BT, Capita, Centrica, Citrix, Defra, Department of Health, News International, NHS, HMRC, HM Treasury, JP Morgan , Metropolitan Police, Nestle, Oracle, Open University, Panasonic, Pearson Education, RAF Northolt, Reuters, Rolls Royce, Shell, Standard & Poor’s, Walt Disney and Warner Brothers.
In 2010, he became a consultant to BPAL where he designed the company’s CRM and email marketing systems and, in 2017, he joined BPAL as director of marketing.
